It was great to see Kaituna River win down at Plumpton for his patient Owners.  The syndicate known as 'Money Down The River' are a group of local farmers who all got together and decided to become involved in Racehorse ownership.  After his first season with us, Kaituna unfortunately picked up an injury which put him on the sidelines for a season.  The time off gave him the c...

What a little superstar Looking As You Are is when following up from her Ludlow victory to go onto Plumpton on Monday and win again!  She is so tough, earlier on in the race she did not look like she was going to get there but she flew the last two hurdles to win by 10 lengths.  So lovely for her owners The Gumbrills Racing Partnership and especially for Annie Fry who bred her out ...

After a frustrating few weeks with the horses not being 100% right in themselves, we were thrilled to have two winners in the last 5 days.  Last Wednesday Looking As You Are, in only her 2nd start over hurdles won nicely at Ludlow under a great ride by Harry Bannister.  Looking slightly green still over some of the hurdles, she toughed it out to win nicely in the end.  Such a ...

Kankin made a superb start over fences winning on his seasonal debut at Huntingdon.  A great start for his new owners The 25 Club who purchased him at the end of last season.  A very slick round of jumping with Kielan on board and hopefully lots more fun to come this season.  So good that so many of the club could be there to welcome him home and pick up the trophy.

No Risk With Lou was having his first run of the season under the guidance of Kielan and Wow, he did not disappoint!  Leading from start to finish, the pair went off like rockets and kept the gallop up right until the end, winning by at least 8 lenghts.  A very slick performance for his first time over fences and hopefully giving us a taste of what we can look forward to for the re...

So thrilled for EZ Tiger who finally got his head in front at Southwell yesterday.  He has recently been very close but had yet to get to that number one spot, which he did in great style yesterday under a fabulous ride by Bryan Carver.  Really chuffed for his owner, Neil Rodway, who unfortuanately could not be there but was watching from home.  Neil has been a great supporter...

For the second time in a matter of three days the girls battled to the winning line.  After Hiconic's win two day previous, Pollypockett was not going to let the side down battling to take the win at Market Rasen.  Another fantastic ride by Harry Bannister, he rode her closer to the pace paying dividends and getting that win.  It was also lovely to see the colours of the late ...

It was great to see Hiconic back to form again yesterday.  After a horrible injury a couple of years ago and a season that didn't quite flow last year it was great to see her back in form.  She was a good winner at Warwick last month and made it two in a row under Harry Bannister yesterday at Worcester under Harry Bannister.  She is a tough mare and has served her owners, Gold...

It has been a busy week at Trafford Bridge with the horses starting to get back on track.   On Sunday Grasse D'Oliverier ran up at Market Rasen.  We were hoping that she would improve from her 5th place last time out and she didn't disappoint.  She sat handy throughout the majority of the race and took it up coming into the home straight to win easily under a great ride by J...

Sunday was a busy day for former Alex Hales Racing horses.  Maybell and Bourbon Beauty, both of whom had been in training with us, gave birth to filly foals.   Bourbon Beauty had a lovely foal by Planteur early in the morning and Maybell gave birth to another filly, the sire being frontiersman.  The foals were quickly up on their feet as were their exhausted mothers.  T...

We rounded last week off with another winner, No Risk With Lou won easily at Southwell races under a great ride by Bryan Carver.  We bought Lou in the summer from Goffs sales and subsequently syndicated him to a new group of owners who called themselves The Risk and Reward Racing Syndicate.  It was a great front running performance by Lou and we could have been happier.   ...

It was great to have a couple of winners in the last 10 days.  Our Bills Aunt made a great seasonal reappearance to win nicely as Chepstow last week.  It was great for Jack Thunder to win at Stratford yesterday under a super ride by Harry Bannister.  Having his first run over fences, he has previously been a little disappointing but not yesterday.  He tracked the leaders throughout the race, when going upsides the winner around the homebend.  He took the lead, nearly got headed but fought on well to be the eventual winner.&n...
