Bourbon Beauty Win The EBF Final At Newbury

 What a huge thrill we had on Saturday when Bourbon Beauty took the EBF final at Newbury.  She had been feeling really well at home and looked magnificent in the paddock before the race.  We had hoped she may get a place but to come home in front was a dream.  Instructions to Harry Bannister, her usual jockey, was to jump off in front, you may end up in mid-division but she will keep battling.  On Saturday she never gave the lead up to anybody and led from the start to the flag.

Such a thrill for her owners, The Old Stoic Racing Club, who have a great group of members all of whom went to Stowe School.  The syndicate is based on a trainer, jockey and owners who all attended Stowe School, it has been a huge success so far with winners on the flat and over jumps.

It is also a great thrill for the yard as we bred her, she is also a half sister to Millers Bank who has also been very successful.  We have a half sister in the field and another foal from the Dam on the way, fingers crossed in the next week or so.  Exciting times ahead for the family.

Bourbon Beauty's win on Saturday also made it our best season so far with winners on the board, another reason to celebrate.
