August Update

 It has been another busy month with all of the horses nearly back in and the majority of them cantering away.  Next week we having new stables put up to accomodate those who are still in the field and then we will have a full yard.  Another new recruit in the last couple of weeks was Rough Night, he is a lovely horse who should go well this season.

Mister Fizz wins at Newton Abbot

On the runners front the horses have continued to run well.  Mister Fizz put another two wins together to make it a three in a row.  Great for a ten year old to do that and he seems to have had a new lease of life since he has been with us.  Dandilion ran well to be third and seems to be back to her old self after some niggling problem.  Methag  continues to be in great from with a very close 2nd last time out.  She is due to run again on Saturday.  We have been fairly quite on the runners front due to the hot weather and hard ground alhtough everything  we have run has gone well.

Next week is the annual Owners Open Day.  Fingers crossed the sun will shine for us and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
