Sea Prince Brings Home The Sticky Toffee Pudding!

 After making it halfway to Cartmel on Friday before it was called off due to waterlogging, off we set again at the crack of dawn on Sunday morning.  Sea Prince, Prabeni and Ticket To LA all made the trip up and the 400 mile round trip was well worth it in the end.  Ticket To La ran first and was very keen as she had been in her bumper.  She was up front all of the way until 3 furlongs from home and just ran out of fuel.  Once she learns to settle she will be fine.

Prabeni ran well, unfortunately his breathing can catch him out which it did again on Sunday.  He is a lovely horse and the decision has been made to retire him.  He is always going to struggle with his wind and there isn't anythng we can really do about it so we will find him a nice home.

Sea Prince again led from the start, he is still quite green and found the tight turns of Cartmel quite hard to handle but held on to win nicely.  He is still a work in progress but is showing the signs of being a very nice horse.  Peter Charter, who unfortunately died recently found the horse and always had a lot of faith in him, we wish he could have been here on Sunday.
