Rain, Rain Go Away
The rain is beginning to play havoc with the racing schedule. With so many meetings being abandoned and if they are able to race the ground is horrendous it is not much fun at the moment.
We are quiet this week due to the lack of racing and have therefore been moving horses around and having a bit of a sort out. Come On Lila is ready to come back into training for her campaign on the flat along with another nice filly for her Owner Breeders, both of which we are really looking forward to. We have a couple of youngsters which have gone off to be broken, one a really nice filly by Black Sam Bellamy who will hopefully be ready for bumpers in the Autumn. One of the mares has gone off to stud to have her foal and will then go back to Jane Ways, who looks after the breeding side of things for us. So as you can see we are still very busy and all of this taking place in the rain. Just heard Towcester have abandoned their meeting tomorrow, when will the rain stop?
