Two Days, Two Seconds

 As we still await the rain the horses we have been able to run have not disappointed.  Crafty Roberto made the trip up to Fakenham for his first outing of the 'new' season and ran very well to finish 2nd.  He travelled and jumped very well, maybe as he gets older he may need a little further which might be a plan for next time but we were pleased enough with the run.

Yesterday we took Take Two down to Lingfield, it was his 2nd run back after a long lay off.  His first run at Catterick was very ring rusty, he reared up in the stalls, missed the break and could not get the hand position we wanted him to get.  He has been in very good form and it showed yesterday, we had Callum Shepherd riding who claims 5, he followed instructions perfectly and from a bad draw managed to jumpout in 4th place.  He stayed there until the home turn when he kicked for home and was only beaten by a short margin by 1 to be 2 at a big price.  Great result for the Edging Ahead Racing Club and really good to see some of their Owners down there.

Tomorrow we run Minellaforleisure at Ascot, a hot contest and we hope he runs well for his Owners The Patient Partnership.
