JOAN WOODS

 It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of an owner who has been with us for over 15 years, Joan Woods.  Joan passed away yesterday and our greatest sympathy goes out to her family.

Joan was a lovely lady, always enthusiastic and loved her racing.  She has been involved with many horses over the years including Royaume Bleu, Duel At Dawn, Say Nothing and Maria Magdalena to name but a few.  Edging Ahead horses proudly wear her black and yellow colours, which have had many visits to the winners enclosure.

Joan was a frequent visitor to Trafford Bridge and thoroughly enjoyed looking around the yard and watching the horses on the gallops.  We would have a cup of tea and a catch up every time she visited, putting the world to rights!

We have lost a great owner, supporter, friend and Joan will be missed terribly from all at Trafford Bridge.
