Rough Night First Run Is A Win!
After a slightly frustrating time recently with horses running well but not winning, Rough Night finally got us off of the Cold Trainers list with an easy victory down at Lingfield. It was his first run for the yard and he really ploughed through the mud to come home in front. Really pleased for his owner Tricia Morris and also for Kielan Woods who has been plagued by injury lately.
Before this win, the homebred Millers Bank was having his first ever race. He has recently been purchased by Steve Bocking and he was very exciting about his first trip to the racecourse. Millers Bank did not disappoint and finished a creditable 2nd after leading most of the way and only being beaten by the Nicky Henderson hot favourite.
The rest of the week we see entries for Jimmi Chew, Mountain Ranger, Huntsman Son and Minellaforleisure. The forecast is full of rain and will be ideal for some of those entered.
A good day all in all and hopefully the rest of the yard can keep the stats up.
