Good Week Ends With A Winner

 For the few runners we have at this time of year we have had a very good week.  On Tuesday our flat runners both performed very well.  Ogaritmo who was having her first run for us put up a great performance in a very quick run race to finish 2nd.  Members of the Edging Ahead Racing Club were there to welcome her in and a good afternoon was had by all at Bath.  She has come out of her race well although we would not want to run her on such quick ground again as she was a little jarred up.

Seamoor Secret went really well at Warwick to finish 4th, not beaten very far and is sure to pick a race up very soon.

It was great to end the week on a winner.  Shinooki, who showed great potential on his first run for us at the beginning of the season and then disappointed on his next two runs, won well at Uttoxeter yesterday.  He has had quite a few niggles which we have hopefully sorted and it was great he finally got his head in front yesterday.  Our Landlord, David Allen, owns him and so makes it even better to have another winner for him.

Take Two came back this week along with his brother 'Samson' after having a break at home.  Hopefully Take Two can reproduce his performances of last season this year, although it will be a couple of months before we get him back on the track.  Samson has really grown, he is only two but looks well and will be ready for action in the early Autumn.

First Day of half term and it's raining, Philippa has just gone past the window on her pony Barney both looking very bedraggled.  George is currently drawing but once Philippa gets back in all the volume in the house rises by ten fold, best think of our next step in the children entertainment department quickly.
