Well that is the end of the 2020/21 National Hunt season and what a season it has been.  We have not only achieved our highest number of winners but also our highest prize money.

With the string of horses running consistently well all season, the horses produced some amazing results.

For Pleasure has had a stand out season, starting last summer on a handicap mark of 107 and finishing with a mark of 144.  He achieved 4 wins along the way including at the Cheltenham in November meeting and highlighted with a 3rd in the Supreme Novices at the Festival, what a star he has been.

Millers Bank is another one who has had a fabulous season, finishing on a mark of 147 and picking up a coule of high class wins.  He rounded off the season at Aintree where he was 3rd in the Betway Aintree Hurdle at a huge price of 80-1, I don't think he will be that price again!

Bourbon Beauty ran well throughout the whole season, winning up at Kelso and ending the season by winning the Grade 2 at Newbury.  What fun she has been.

Smooth Stepper always puts up a great performance and after winning the Grand National Trial last season he rolled back the years to win the Veterans Chase in great style at Carlise recently.  Such a superstar.

Little Hiconic had a fabulous summer, winning 4 races on the bounce and being placed 3 times.  She sadly picked up an injury early this year but will hopefully be back in the future.

Huntsman Son is still as enthusiastic as ever and put up an excellent performance to go from last to 1st up at Wetherby at the end of October in a Listed race.  He also had an outing over the Grand National fences in the Topham and was running really well until the 26th when he unseasted Kielan.

So many great performances from the whole string and we must say huge thanks forthe support of our wonderful Owners, Jockeys (Kielan Woods and harry Bannister) and superb team at Trafford Bridge.  We could not do it without you!

We are already into the next season and with soem new horses and Owners joining Alex Hales Racing there is lots to look forward to.  Happy Newson Season all.
