A busy week which started on Bank Holiday Monday with Methag and The Otmoor Poet up at Fakenham and Crafty Roberto at Market Rasen.  The Otmoor Poet was coming back after a break and did well to finish 4th.  Methag could not quite get into the race, as they went very quick for her as they tend to at Fakenham which was disappointing but she is fine and will be back out shortly.  Crafty ran a good race to be 2nd, he looked like he was the winner coming into the home straight but unfortunately there was just one better.

On Friday we took Running Wolf and Stepover up to Southwell.  Both stood chances but poor Wolfie never got past the start after being double barrelled by another horse in the race and under Vets orders he had to be withdrawn.  He and Trevor Whelan were very lucky, it could have been something broken but thankfully a nasty cut and I think we got off lightly.  Luckily Stepover cheered the evening up by running a super race and after jumping the last quickened away to take that number one spot.  Great for her Owner and who are our Landlords.

On Saturday we had an open morning for The Golden Horse Racing Club who own Dandilion.  Everybody seemed to enjoy seeing the horses on the gallops and schooling followed by a bacon bap and cup of tea.  The club all went on mass to Woverhampton where Dandilion was running, she couldn't win for them but ran well and I should imagine they all had a good evening.

Today we run Take Two at Kempton on the all weather, he does prefer the turf but with no rain received in recent times better to be safe than sorry.
