Bit Nippy!

January has certainly come in with a cold blast, having lost quite a few days to frost we have not had that many runners.

Take Two ran really well at Kempton under our Amateur jockey Jamie Brace.  It was Jamie's first ride under rules (although he has completed many Point to Points) and he was very professional and gave TT a great ride to finish 3rd only beaten 2 lengths.  Great for Edging Ahead to have another placed horse and great for Jamie.  They both go again on Friday at Lingfield, so fingers crossed for them.

The Otmoor Poet ran a really good race at Kempton to be 3rd behind some very classy individuals, he probably needs to grow up a little mentally however he can only progress from here on in.  He is due to run on Thursday at Fakenham although the forecast is not great and it could be another meeting lost to the frost.

Dandilion ran a cracker at Wolverhampton, she was 2nd and would have won if the gap hadnt closed up in front of her.  A good thing which came out of the race is that she has a new Owner, The Golden Horse Racing Club, great to have new Owners in the yard and we are looking forward to her running for them.

Today Running Wolf is supposed to run at Leicester, they have had two inspections already and we are awaiting the 12pm inspection.  Poor Wolfie set off for Taunton on Saturday and then had to come home after that was abandoned to hopefully the same thing won't happen again.

The rest of the week sees Methag and Ultimatum Du Roy go to Ludlow tomorrow.  It is Methag's first run for us and her new Owners since she came over from France.

Indian Native goes to Warwick on Thursday and Duel At Dawn and Kristal Star go to Doncaster on Saturday.
