All Running Well Still, Need A Christmas Winner!

It has been another busy couple of weeks with the horses continuing to run well, getting placed but if we could turn those places into winners we would be flying.

Out of our last 7 National Hunt Runners we have had 3 seconds and 3 thirds.  Running Wolf went up to Catterick again but just met a hotpot from the Donald McCain yard who went off like a rocket and didn't stop, leaving Wolfie to take up 2nd place, Big Jim ran really well at Uttoxeter but just got tired on very sticky ground to be 2nd to a horse who was having his 3rd win in a row.  Ogaritmo was unlucky up at Fakenham to be beaten by 1/2 length, she is a real tough nut as she had a horrible fall last time out at Southwell and did well to come back from that.

Our third places were Crafty Roberto down at Lingfield again the ground was awful, Salut Honore was 3rd at Southwell putting up a really good performance again on very tiring ground and Stepover was 3rd in a very hot race at Fakenham, she will now get a handicap mark which will help her.

We are just declaring for Boxing Day and at the moment it is looking like Gilzean and Midnight Chorister at Huntingdon, Ultimatum Du Roy and Vaillant Creek at Market Rasen and Minellaforleisure at Kempton.  We are due quite a lot of rain which could change plans for Minella and Midnight Chorister so we will have to wait and see for those two.

That just leaves me to wish you all a very Happy Christmas, good luck to all of you who have runners over the Christmas period and a successful new year.
