Good Week At Trafford Bridge
We have a good week at Trafford Bridge with two winners.
Omar Maretti made the trip up to Catterick in a race where he started 15/8F. It is always quite a nervous time when they start off favourite however Kielan gave Omar a brilliant patient ride to come and take it up 2 out to win comfortably. Omar is a lovely horse who take everything in his stride and much deserved the win. He will have an entry at Cheltenham and it would be great for his owners, if he could have a run there.
The second winner of the week was Has Troke down at Fontwell. He looked quite hard work for him half way through the race but he kept on galloping and took the lead after the last, again another great ride by Kielan. It was lovely that Has Troke has won for his syndicate, The Arty Syndicate, as the members were all brought together by the late John Killick. He would have loved to have seen Has Troke win, his sons took over his share so there is still some involvement for the Killicks and hopefully John is watching from above.
Our Bill's Aunt also put up a grand performance this week down at Lingfield finishing 2nd on horrible ground. It is lovely for The 25 Club who also had The Lion Dancer placed the week before.
Tomorrow EX Tiger goes to Newbury, with entries next week for Happy & Fine, Family Time, Yellowstone Park and Midnightinbresil.
