Feel Like De Baune

After a bit of a quiet time Feel Like De Baune put the yard back in the winners enclosure under a fabulous ride by his his owner, Ben Brackenbury.  We made the long trip up to Carlisle and he made it worthwhile by running a fantastic race and keeping his nose in front to beat the previous champion jockey, Brian Hughes, on the line.  We are all so thrilled for Ben and his family who are great supporters of the yard.  

De Baune made up for Say Nothing who was running a superb race a Hereford when falling at the last when two lengths clear.  So frustrating but she is fine which is the main thing and lives to fight another day.

Maria went to Stratford on Saturday and as ever tried her heart out to be beaten only be a length to finish 3rd.

We are forecast rain for the next few day, which is what we have been waiting for and we will now start being busy with runners.
