Winner, Winner

 Another National Hunt winner for the season with Mister Fizz winning at Southwell races yesterday.  He was having his first run for us and put up a great performance under top weight on a scorching day.  So pleased for his owners Margaret Wilson and Bundle Pickard.  The horses continue to run well, we are just being held up by the lack of rain.  Even the horses who want quick ground are finding it to fast and we don't want to risk injury.

Today the first lot of horses have come back in from their summer break, including Royal Sunday, Florrie Knox, Huntsman Son, Topper Thornton and Dartagnan Le Dun.  It will be shoes on tomorrow and they will be ridden away.  Fingers crossed they all behave!
