Summer Holidays Over

 Apologies for the lack of news recently but there has been nothing very exciting to report other than the normal day to day routine.  That will all change now as it is the end if the summer holidays for the majority of the string. As I write this the peace of the yard is no more as Royaume Bleu, who has just been picked up in the box from his field, yells to his summer grazing companions who are like him safely bolted into their stables.  A few more trips up and down the various lanes on the Esate and they should all be back stood on shavings rather than grass.

Tomorrow will be quite hectic with all of the 'holidayers' being ridden away in the lunge ring, just in case any are feeling a bit over athletic.  In the afternoon the poor blacksmith has the task of putting shoes on the motley crew and then on Wednesday it is the start of their walking work.  All very exciting as the start of another season beckons.

I will get some photos posted on the website ASAP and try and do a before and after of the horses.
