Chead Solas

 We had a really sad evening at Uttoxeter yesterday when we lost Chead Solas.  He had not been with us for very long and was having his first run for the yard.  He took a bad fall which resulted in a broken shoulder and sadly had to be put to sleep.  Our sympathies go out to his owners, The 25 Club, he was a lovely horse with a great temperament and was quickly becoming a yard favourite.  There are definitely highs and lows in racing, yesterday was a real low for everybody.
