What an amazing week it has been, with two winners at different ends of the scale.

On Wednesday evening the sweet filly Inclement Weather won at Kempton.  So thrilled tfor her and her owners Golden Equinox Racing, who both deserved the win.

Thursday was a big day for the yard with Millers Bank heading up to Aintree in the Grade 1 Novices Chase.  It was the first race of the meeting, and Robbie must have sensed it was a big occasion, as he came off the lorry like a lion!  Not the nicest of weather with rain and wind, which was not going to bother us.  After winning best turned out, well done Cara, Robbie and Kielan headed off to the start.  There were not a huge amount of runners, however the competition was hot with a Paul Nicholls fancied horse in the race.

They jumped off, with Robbie settling well in the middle of the field.  He kept that position for the majority of the race when moving up coming to the 2nd last, he was bang there at the last and then surged past the opposition to win by 10 lengths.  As you can imagine everybody was screaming, shouting, jumping up and down.  Such a thrill to walk into that famous paddock a winner.  It was the first Grade 1 success not only for Alex but also for Kielan.  So thrilled for him, he is a superb jockey and one you want on board your horses.

Huge congratulations to Steve Bocking, Robbie's owner, a great supporter of the yard.  He is such a lovely man and deserved that win.
