Yesterday we ran Midnight Chorister and Shinooki at Market Rasen.  Shinooki was having to run under a penalty which was a big ask but after leading nearly all of the way he got caught near to home and ended up 3rd.  A pleasing run again and great he put two good runs together.

We hoped Midnight Chorister would run a big race after his good performances on the flat but after travelling well for the first half of the race he seemed to fall into a 'hole'.  Disappointing, we need to put our thinking caps on and see where we go from here.

A new recruit joins the yard this week, Allneccessaryforce who has been very interesting on the flat for Richard Fahey, should arrive on Monday.  His eventual plan will be to go hurdling although he may stay on the flat for the current time.

Looking out of the window now at the rain pouring down it is hard to think of the sun shining as it was last week, which was very much enjoyed by our two year old colt who was 'mowing' the grass at the bottom of the garden (see attached photograph).
