The good form continued last week with two 2nds, a 3rd, a 4th and two 5ths!

We took The Drone, Musical Stardust and Millers Bank up to Fakenham.  Millers Bank was having his first run over hurdles and ran a super race to finish 2nd behind a horse that looks to have a very bright future.  He has come out of the race well and will hopefully go on from that run.

Musical Stardust was having her last run before a break and was as consistant as ever to finish 4th. She has been a superstar over the summer and tried her heart out, with the ground generally soft it is a good time for her to go on her hols.

The Drone was coming back from a break and running over fences for the first time for a while.  He ran really well to finish 3rd over a trip that was probably a little short for him.  He has come out of the race well and we will be looking for another race for him shortly.

On Friday the superstar Maria Magdalena went up to Wetherby to run in a listed race.  What an amazing little mare who again tried her heart out and was only beaten 1 1/2 lengths to finish 2nd.  She now has black type against her name which is great for her.

On Saturday Florrie Knox was having his first run back after a long break.  As tough as ever in horrible conditions at Wetherby he ran really well to finish 5th and will come on for the race.

Sunday we took the amazing Jimmi Chew to Huntingdon, he started a short price favourite which is hardly surprising as he has won his last two.  Unfortunately the big hike in weight and the ground being on the soft side went against him meaning he finished 5th.  He has had a really good campaign over the summer and done his owners proud.  He will now have a break as the ground wilb be to soft for him for a while.
