Normal service is resumed as the yard is virtually full with only a couple of empty spaces, one of which will be take by the end of the month. We have a couple of new horses, Poupee, who is a lovely mare by Fairmix and is owned locally but who is available for lease. Stepover, the other new member, is a 3 years old who is owned and bred by David Allen and looks a very exciting prospect for the coming season.  So far all of the horses are still behaving with only a few 'Iffy' moments generally caused by the tractors and Combine Harverters going up and down the farm tracks.

Last week we ran Ogaritmo at Lingfield where she finished a good 4th.  We had different tactics this time and rather than holding her up we went from the front.  This seemed to work and although she did get caught she galloped to the line and will probably come on for the run.

We are currently gearing up for the Open Day which this year is on the 31st August.  We are hoping that having it a couple of weeks earlier that the weather may be a little kinder.

We are now in the second week of summer holidays and not that many squabbles so far between Bunny and George.  The task everyday is how to entertain them which is my next thought as I end this blog.
